About me

System Engineer at VEM Sistemi working with on-premise infrastructure, mainly VMware environments and NetApp storage systems.

I’ve been using Linux since I was 13 and started homelabbing on a Raspberry Pi at 15. From the beginning, I’ve focused on implementing everything securely and simulating real-world enterprise environments in my homelab. Now I’m pursuing Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE) to consolidate those skills formally.

My daily work at VEM Sistemi involves designing and managing VMware vSphere setups and data protection using NetApp SnapMirror, Cohesity, Rubrik, and Veeam. In my free time, I write PowerShell scripts and Ansible playbooks to automate system provisioning.

I’ve been running containerized environments (mainly on Docker) for years and have deep experience with container orchestration. Currently learning Kubernetes on OpenShift and testing OpenShift Virtualization in my homelab.

Planning to share homelab projects and infrastructure notes on this blog.
