# About Me
I’m currently a System Engineer at VEM Sistemi, where I work with on-premise and hybrid infrastructures. My primary focus is on VMware environments, NetApp storage systems (including SnapMirror, BlueXP, and related technologies), data protection platforms (Cohesity, Rubrik & Veeam), and Windows/Linux deployments for our customers.
I have been using Linux since I was 13 and began my homelab journey with a Raspberry Pi at 15. From the start, my focus has been on implementing everything securely and replicating real-world enterprise environments. I also apply these skills professionally at VEM Sistemi, where I have succeeded in complex, stable deployments and multi-vendor integrations for our customers.
In my spare time, I enjoy writing scripts and Ansible playbooks to automate system provisioning and configuration.
For years, I have been running containerized environments, mainly on Docker, and have gained extensive experience with container orchestration. I am currently expanding my knowledge by learning Kubernetes on OpenShift and testing OpenShift Virtualization in my homelab.
Now, I’m trying something new: writing blog posts and guides.
Through my blog, I hope to give back to the community, especially newcomers. I aim to create user-friendly yet professional guides that I wish existed when I started, reflecting the “real-world deployment” philosophy I’ve learned in professional environments.
